Boogie’s Burgers

Boogie’s Burgers is a beloved Calgary burger shop with a penchant for 80’s arcade games and retro kitsch. I worked with Noel, the owner for 5+ years and oversaw a full re-brand, the commencement of a dedicated social program and assisted in the interior design of a second location in Marda Loop. Early on we decided that the creative direction was “everything is a joke”. From naming milkshakes to designing t-shirts, everything should have a wink of irreverence. A major part of the online strategy was ensuring Google My Business, Yelp and Trip Advisor were working to our advantage by claiming and outfitting all accounts with the same information, schedules, branded photos and working links to current menus. Keeping a consistent (in tone and visuals) presence on social was key to growing our audience. The efforts paid off when Netflix reached via instagram to ask if we would host the Riverdale launch party in Calgary.
